The talented beautiful actress Taylor Schilling plays Piper Chapman in the comedy-drama series, which has already been renewed for a second season, Orange is the New Black.

It premieres... all 13 hours of it, July 11th on Netflix. It's based on Piper Kerman's memoir Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Woman's Prison. It's the second series brought to you by showrunner Jenji Kohan, who created Showtime's Weeds. I have a breakdown of the lovely Taylor's looks from a day of press, and a night of premiere festivities. I hope you'll find a tip to add to your beauty bag of tricks!

Wavy Tousled Hair How-To:For Taylor's first look we wanted a soft daytime look. First I blew Taylor's hair out by using Sally Hershberger Thickening Spray and a small round brush, to create volume. Then I used a 1inch barrel curling iron to create soft beachy waves. It was loose and airy with a nice texture for day.Fresh Soft Makeup How-To:To create a healthy pretty day look I used Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizers. I added a few drops of their Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer to the regular formula, to create more of a glow. To warm up and high light Taylor's eyes I used Palette #1 from Kevyn Aucoin. For her lashes I used Benefit's They're Real Mascara and Instant Brow to define her brows. Bouquet Rose blush stick by Votre Vu gave her a soft flush and Tarte LipSurgence in Hope, for a natural matte rose hue.

Clean Polished Hair How-To's:For the premiere look we wanted the hair to accent the gorgeous Calvin Klein dress she was going to wear, so we went with simple and elegant. I first straightened Taylor's curls from the wavy look she had earlier using a flat iron. Then with the fine side of a comb I back combed the top and crown of her hair to create a bit of height at the crown. Then I pulled half of her hair back and secured it with a few small bobby pins. I finished the look by spraying her entire hair-do with Redken 23 Hairspray.Soft charcoal eyes and nude lips makeup breakdown:For the premiere soft charcoal and black on the eyes would blend well with the black and white Calvin Klein dress. I kept the rest of Taylor's face simple with just a touch of nude gloss by Kevyn Aucoin in Vesuvian and Soleil Tan De Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder. I added my favorite charcoal eye shadow by MAC in Knight Divine, and smudged Smoke Caviar Stick by Laura Mercier around the lash line. I used Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner pencil in silvery #22L on the inner corners of her eyes for sparkle. On the inner rim of her eyes I used a black eye pencil by Aveda in Black Orchid. Pretty pretty!
