We've suspected for a while that Flavor Flav is really an experimental dadaist performance artist using popular culture itself as his canvas, and his newest venture kind of seals it. As unreal as it may seem, Flav's Fried Chicken opened Monday in Clinton, Iowa, and the flamboyant rapper turned flamboyant reality television star isn't pulling any punches about his intentions: "My chicken ain't no joke. I ain't scared to go up against the Colonel, tastewise...." Ironically, until now, we'd never even considered using the words Flavor and taste in the same sentence.
While we love Flav, we weren't totally convinced that he was serious about his new life as a restauranteur. That is until last night, when Jimmy Kimmel unveiled the brand new commercial for Flav's Fried Chicken. If you weren't planning your trip to Iowa before, you will be now.
