Jemima Kirke, 'Girls' Star, Knows Just How To Meet The Parents (PHOTO)

Chopsticks + Crimper Hair = Perfect Meet-The-Parents Attire
|

Unlike many stars in Hollywood, Jemima Kirke did not set out looking for fame. In fact, the British-born actress was completely content as a fine artist with a private life that remained out of the tabloids. But being friends with Lena Dunham (the creator of HBO's "Girls") kind of precludes you from normalcy. After some gentle persuasion from Dunham to star in her series, Kirke acquiesced and now finds herself in a lead role in one of the most talked-about shows of the decade.

In celebration of Kirke's 28th birthday (on April 26), we're digging out one of our favorite Jessa moments from the second season of "Girls." In this photo we see her character meeting her in-laws for the first time -- and what could be more suitable attire than a low-cut dress, crimped hair and chopsticks? Though Jessa manages to pull off some pretty crazy looks (sheer dresses while babysitting and casual kimonos in the park are de rigueur), this ensemble tops our list as one of the more outrageous looks.
