A new series of children's book cover designs is testing readers' knowledge of classic kid lit and encouraging a love of reading.
The children's book subscription service Bookroo created around 100 posters that reimagine classic kids' book covers. Inspired by the work of Christian Jackson, the minimalist designs rely on simple illustrations that relate to the books' central plots and imagery. To promote the posters, Bookroo also developed a quiz to test each reader's ability to recognize the books based on the minimalist covers.
A representative for Bookroo told The Huffington Post that the company hopes these new posters will "help people remember the simple joy of children’s books" and "encourage an early love of reading."
Visit Bookroo's website to take the quiz and keep scrolling for a sample of the minimalist book covers.
