You may remember Allie Goertz for her Bo Burnham-y songs about her favorite comedians, Dungeons & Dragons and "The Hobbit." It may not come as a surprise that she's the type of gal whose taste leans toward the nerdy, and as we know, nerds are very protective of the things they nerd out over. And sometimes, they need a reality check.
In her song "Open Letter to Myself," Goertz reminds herself that just because someone doesn't "love Django Reinhardt, or Demetri Martin's pie charts," that doesn't mean they should be totally discounted as a human being.
A good lesson for us all!
