Here's a truly breathless marriage proposal.

Joseph House, 23, and his soon-to-be wife, Jessica Forbes, 21, were on vacation near Grand Cayman when he decided to pop the question on the seafloor. A video of the moment, uploaded to YouTube, features the scuba diving couple as they descend to a sandy spot under the waves.

In the video, House drops onto one knee, awkwardly tripping on his flipper as he does so, and reaches into a treasure chest to retrieve a waterproof map he later described as marking out "the course of their relationship." A path on the map ends on the question, "So, are you going to marry me or not?"

An excited Forbes nods "yes," squealing delightedly and loud enough for the camera to pick up the muffled sounds between gurgles from the scuba gear.

"When we were under water they showed us lots of other figurines in the ocean, and so when they showed us the treasure chest I was like, 'Oh, that's cool, a treasure chest,' and kept on swimming," Forbes told ABC's "Good Morning America." "And then Joey went down to it, and I saw him trip over his flipper as he was getting on his knee, and I saw the ring on the map, and I saw ‘Marry’ and then I just knew.”

After slipping the ring onto her finger, Forbes and House both surfaced and exchanged kisses.
