With less than 24 hours to go until Thanksgiving dinners begin, we know many of you are busy stocking up on turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and... Cigarettes?

According to this vintage Camel ad uploaded by Flickr user SA_Steve, you'll need four to five cigarettes just to make it through your Turkey Day feast, because "Camel Cigarettes Aid With Your Thanksgiving Digestion!"

Right...

You have to read all the copy on this absurd old advertisement to really get an idea of how delusional cigarette marketing was back in the day, when smoking at the dinner table was a given. We don't think they even smoked this much around Thanksgiving on "Mad Men!"
