Give your house a comic book feel by creating these fun buildings out of boxes. Just grab some cardboard boxes and cover them in coloured paper, construction paper, or even paint. Vary the size of the boxes so that they can be stacked. This will also give the buildings a unique look.

Bonus: This might make a good activity for later, as the kids will love to stack and restack the buildings as they play.

After having the kids make their own superhero costume, or simply providing them with one, you can do a photoshoot with them. This clever idea involves setting the scene on the ground by laying out a blue sheet and creating tiny houses and clouds. Then, one at a time, have each child lay above the buildings in the scene and pose in a way so that it looks like they’re flying. Take the photo from above. The results are awesome and the kids will love it!
