David Letterman Spoofs Mitt Romney's 'Day One' Campaign Ad (VIDEO)

WATCH: Letterman Imagines Romney's Second Day In Office

David Letterman wasn't about to let Mitt Romney's first general election campaign ad enter the political sphere without a parody version to go along with it.

After Romney released the ad entitled "Day One" last week, Letterman and his "Late Show" writers did the next logical thing and put together a video showing what "day two" might look like. Unfortunately for Romney supporters, it doesn't look very promising.

Letterman has not endorsed a candidate for the 2012 election but recently praised President Obama during an interview with Brian Williams. Comparatively, the spoof above shows just how seriously he's taking Romney's campaign so far.

Romney visited "The Late Show" last February to read a "Top Ten List" full of jokes at his expense. We're not sure if he'll find Dave's latest jab at him as equally humorous. Watch it above.
