Vogue Netherlands Has Arrived! (PHOTO)

In the international landscape of street style, Holland looms large and hip. So do its models, including Lara Stone and Saskia de Brauw. So it's only appropriate that the Netherlands finally gets its own edition of Vogue.

The issue arrives after speculation last October and a formal announcement in November, in which Conde Nast chairman Jonathan Newhouse said, "Holland is a thriving market in the heart of Western Europe with a growing hunger for luxury. It is natural for Vogue."

It's the next step in Vogue's international takeover. Vogue Netherlands is the fashion bible's 19th edition, joining (brace yourselves) Spain, Australia, India, Germany, China, Italy, Japan, France, the UK, Russia, Brazil, Greece, Turkey, Korea, Taiwan, Portugal, Mexico and Latin America and the most important one of all (if we're going by importance of editors-in-chief), the U.S.

Joining the international army of Vogue editors (seen all together in this epic photo) will be Karin Swerink, a former Dutch Glamour editor and judge of "Holland's Next Top Model" (how Andre Leon Talley of her).

Swerink's first issue as editor-in-chief features models Ymre Stiekema, Josefien Rodermans and Romee Strijd on the cover, smiling wide in bright spring dresses. The headline reads, "Number One In The Netherlands."

For now the new magazine is just "leaked," sans an official website (or swanky kickoff party). But judging from the cover, we're already big fans.
