Will Alec Baldwin play victim or perp? Will he woo the jury as a defense attorney or sweat on the the stand?
The "30 Rock" star makes his return to TV with a guest appearance on "Law & Order: SVU," according to E! News. Surprisingly enough, this will be Baldwin's very first cameo in the "Law & Order" universe.
What makes this news even better is that Baldwin's episode will also be "SVU" star Mariska Hargitay's directorial debut. Hargitay will still appear as Sergeant Benson in the episode (because how could we survive an episode without her?), but it will be exciting to see what she can do behind the camera.
There's no news yet about Baldwin's character, but the actor posted on Twitter Friday morning (Feb. 14) urging "SVU" fans to follow him.
That can only mean new info is coming soon.
"Law & Order: SVU" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
