Chef Richard Blais is beloved for his turn on Top Chef and his win on Top Chef All-Stars. But the modernist chef has a whole lot more going on this year -- a new show on HLN called "Cook Your Ass Off," a new restaurant in San Diego, and he even ran the marathon (now that's just showing off).

We got the chef to answer our 5 Questions about everything from whether you actually can cook your ass off to what snacks he likes to take on his many plane journeys between Atlanta and San Diego. Watch the video above for all of his answers!
