Emma Thompson's SAG Awards 2014 Shoes Were Flats, Because She's Awesome Like That

Since the 2014 National Board of Review Awards and last week's Golden Globes, Emma Thompson has become our favorite conscientious objector to high heels. Ever.

So should we have been at all surprised that the British actress hit the 2014 SAG Awards red carpet in flats? Thompson paired her vintage 1930s dress with open-toe silver flat sandals that she was able to move in... and pal around with buddy Meryl Streep in. If that's not enough to get women to ditch their heels, we don't know what is.
