On Friday, "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston will hit the big screen as the villainous Cohaagen in the "Total Recall" remake.

This isn't the first time a "Breaking Bad" actor has appeared in a "Total Recall" film. Dean Norris, who plays Hank on the AMC series, appeared in the original 1990 film as Tony.

So how did Norris react to his co-star's role new role? According to Cranston, he was a "little bombastic" about it. In an interview with Hollywood.com (above), Cranston did a hilarious impersonation of Norris telling him to "stay away from his movie."

Still, he let Cranston take on the role of yet another flawed father figure after portraying the meth-cooking, suburb-dwelling father Walter White for five seasons -- the first half of which is currently airing. And Cranston's completely fine with it, as it turns out.

“I told [director Len Wiseman] I had a feeling that I want to play Cohaagen as a father figure to Colin Farrell’s character," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "And that he loves this kid and desperately wants to keep him alive as opposed to desperately wanting to kill him.”

"Total Recall" hits theaters on Fri., August 3, and "Breaking Bad" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
