"Alias" veteran Victor Garber is checking in to Showtime's "The Big C." Garber, who also appears on Showtime's "Web Therapy," will play a man who causes trouble for Cathy's brother Sean (John Benjamin Hickey).

According to Showtime, an accidental phone call turns into a harassing situation between Garber's character and the easily riled-up Sean.

"The Big C" returns Sun., April 8 at 9:30 p.m. EST following the season premiere of "Nurse Jackie." Season 3 of "The Big C" picks up with Cathy (Laura Linney) and her family dealing with the tragedy that ended last season.

Garber's other noted TV roles include "Eli Stone" and the miniseries "Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows."
