Revoke my Canadian citizenship. How did I not know Lauren Holly became a Canadian citizen in 2008?

The actress married Toronto-born investment banker Francis Greco over a decade ago, and since Holly's most notable acting gig is "Dumb & Dumber" -- from almost 20 years ago -- I think she made a good move.

Aside from a memorable stint on "NCIS," Holly has been lighting up small screens in many series filmed in Canada, including "Flashpoint," "Covert Affairs" and "Rookie Blue." But you can add one more to her resume: "Lost Girl."

Holly will guest-star on an episode of Showcase's number-one original series, which returns on Jan. 22 with all-new season 2 episodes.

The actress, formerly best-known as Mary Swanson (or was it Samsonite?) will play Sadie, a celebrity Afreet, who, according to the press release, is a fae who literally feeds off the adulation of her fans. Yum.

The episode, "Midnight Lamp," finds Bo (Anna Silk) still pondering The Ash's shocking proposal, but in the meantime, she has a job to do -- track down Sadie (Holly), an assignment that will likely get complicated.

Fans can look forward to Holly's appearance coinciding with the midseason premiere on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showcase.
