The beautiful Leighton Meester may have been spot-on when it came to her tiered tulle gown at last night's Met Gala in New York, but she missed the mark when she hopped on the Oompa Loompa tan train.

Although we applaud Meester for hitting the spray-tan booth rather than a dangerous tanning bed, she may want to dial it back next time she steps out under the bright lights on the red carpet.

But Meester's not alone in her tanning faux pas. Stars like Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton have all been the victim of an over-the-top orange glow.
