'The Bachelor': Juan Pablo Sleeps With Clare, Tells Her He Regrets It

'The Bachelor': Juan Pablo Sleeps With Contestant Already!
|

On the latest episode of "The Bachelor," Clare got some one-on-one time with Juan Pablo after sneaking out of the house at 4 a.m. The pair headed for the beach for a moonlit dip in the ocean ... and quite a bit more.

If there was any doubt about what did or didn't happen during their late-night rendezvous, Clare gave a rather specific toast later on. She said, "Cheers to finding, being loved and making love." The other women were understandably stunned.

But while Clare was celebrating their apparent sexual encounter, Juan Pablo was regretting it. He pulled her aside later and said that he felt it set a bad example for his daughter. E! Online's Tierney Bricker was shocked by his reaction, writing, "Team Clare all the way on this one. Juan Pabs did not handle this the right way. At all."

Over at The Stir, Mary Fischer found an awkward silver lining for Clare. "If he really does dump her right after ‘you know’ -- it does put her in a good position to be the next Bachelorette," she wrote. "Who cares about being dumped directly after going all the way if you at least get a decent TV gig out of it?”

"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
