'Gossip Girl' Final Episode: Creator Stephanie Savage Talks Reveal

'Gossip Girl' Co-Creator Talks Big Reveal

On "Gossip Girl's" final episode (Mon. Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. EST), The CW series will unveil the mysterious blogger's identity. And according to co-creator Stephanie Savage, keeping her identity a secret was no easy task.

"It's been very nerve-wracking for me to try to keep it a secret," Stephanie Savage told TV Guide of the details of the finale "Gossip Girl" episode. "But I'm excited for people to find out. The cast and crew were definitely excited when they found out so I'm hoping our fans have the same reaction."

If the cast reactions are any indication, fans are in for quite the surprise on Monday night.

"I used all those expressions they use on 'Gossip Girl,' like 'WTF' [when I found out]," Margaret Colin, who plays Blair's (Leighton Meester) mom, told HuffPost TV. "I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I hope people watch it. I don't even know how it's revealed, because the script was all exed out, but I know who it is and I've got my DVR set."

Tune in to the two-hour series finale of "Gossip Girl" airs on Mon., Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
