'NY Ink': Bai Ling Celebrates Sobriety With A Tattoo (VIDEO)

A Sober Bai Ling Gets Some 'NY Ink'

Tommy Montoya was really excited on "NY Ink" ( Thu., 9 p.m. EST on TLC) because he was going to tattoo Bai Ling. Don't know who she is? Fear not, Tommy has the scoop: "She's that Asian chick in all the movies, with the big tattoo on her back."

Bai Ling is also familiar to television viewers from her stint on Season 5 of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," where she struggled with her alcohol abuse and behavioral issues.

She said that she turned to alcohol as a way of sublimating the abuse she suffered as a child and that she finally went to rehab when she realized that the booze was destroying her.

Now, out of rehab and six months sober, the actress decided to celebrate her newfound sobriety by getting some ink.

Looking at the moon and stars newly tattooed on her feet, Bai said, "I'm so happy!"

"NY Ink" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
