'Extreme Couponing': Judy Admits She May Need Medication

So, is "Extreme Couponing" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on TLC) as it's depicted on the popular reality show simply people being thrifty and smart about saving, or could it be the outward manifestation of a mental disorder like obsessive compulsive disorder? On this week's episode, Judy seemed to agree that she probably suffers from OCD, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

When people have suggested that she could take medication to help with her compulsions, Judy rejected the thought outright.

"Why would I do that? Then I wouldn't have this," she said, referring to her massive stockpile. "The medication would alter my brain and I like it just the way it is."

And Judy isn't just content to enjoy the spoils herself, She teaches a class on couponing techniques, for possible future shoppers featured on "Extreme Couponing." It's the circle of savings.

"Extreme Couponing" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
