UPDATE: Michael Lohan's heart surgery procedure was postponed due to an IV related infection.

Michael Lohan may not be up for any "Father of the Year" awards, but could a hospital stint bring the estranged dad and his kids back together? Apparently not. The infamous Lohan patriarch is undergoing heart surgery, but those close to the family tell me that none of Michael's children have visited him in the hospital.

"[Neither] Lindsay nor any of his children have been in contact with him," Lindsay's friend tells me. "He's actually trying to get to Dina through collect calls but she is having none of it. Dina is taking him to family court [again] for child support on Dec. 12 -- which he probably won't show for."

On Monday, after complaining of chest pains, Michael was rushed from his court-ordered treatment center to a Florida hospital, where he underwent heart surgery.

"I spoke to Michael, who is registered under the name of a character from 'Winnie the Pooh,'" friend Tom Murro from newjerseynewsroom.com tells me. "He's been begging Kim Granatell [from the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'] to come down to be by his bedside."

When a daughter isn't free, I suppose a "Real Housewife" will do.
