Madonna's new hip hop-influenced album "Hard Candy" will be released at the end of April and will be her last on the Warner label, the record company announced Tuesday.

The record will hit the shelves around the world on April 28, and in the United States one day later, the firm said.

"Four Minutes" featuring former N-Sync singer Justin Timberlake, will be the first single on what will be Madonna's 11th studio album, and will be the first single released from it at the end of this month, it added.

Announcing the new album, Madonna said: "The title is a juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, kind of like I'm gonna kick your ass but it's going to make you feel good. And of course, I love candy."
