Man Says He Lived In His Car For Days To Get Away From ‘Nagging’ Wife

Chuck and Amanda say their six-year marriage is loud, hostile and full of rage, and they often scream and fight in front of their two small children.

“My husband, Chuck, has a short fuse,” claims Amanda.

“When she won’t stop the nagging, I feel like I’m backed in the corner and I explode,” says Chuck, claiming that after one fight, he stormed out of the house and moved into his car for days just to “get away from Amanda’s nagging.”

Chuck says there are days when he thinks about divorce every hour.

“I have no problem with the chores and tasks she asks me to do, but she’s reminding me 15, 20 times, and then calls me every name in the book for not doing it,” Chuck claims. “I don’t want to listen to Amanda emasculate me in front of the children anymore.”

Turning to Dr. Phil for help, Chuck, who has been divorced three times, says, “I don’t want it to be divorce number four but I don’t know how to fix our relationship.”

In the video above, hear why Amanda says their marriage started out rocky with a “terrible” honeymoon. And, why does Chuck say he’s staying with Amanda?

Chuck says he’s been completely honest with his wife, but has he? Watch more on Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil.
