When the news that Fox Business called the Muppets a bunch of capitalism-hating communists went viral yesterday, the proposition was roundly mocked for its absurdity: a classic puppet franchise as liberal trojan horse, meant to take down our economy?

Certainly sounds silly. But esteemed journalist Conan O'Brien looked at their new hit film, "The Muppets" more closely, and seemed to have found some pretty damning evidence. And if there's one guy who knows the Muppets intimately, it's Conan -- he's hosted them many times, after all, and even helped support Kermit in some of his darker days.
