Petra Nemcova channeled Christie Brinkley in Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl" video on this week's "Dancing With the Stars," and the supermodel took us behind the scenes of her grueling rehearsals in this exclusive video.

Petra said that learning the jive was "killer" and requires lots of extra energy and red bulls - in addition to some band-aids.

"My feet were bleeding, look at this," she said, showing a blood-soaked sandal. "That's blood!"

"Who said that dancing is not dangerous?" her partner, Dmitry Chaplin, joked.

Petra narrowly survived the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, in which she lost her fiance, and she recently told Good Morning America that she was rehearsing for DWTS when she heard the tragic news about Japan. She is seeking donations to her charity, the Happy Hearts Fund, which helps children devastated by natural disasters.
