Less than seven months after their wedding, former NFL star Ed Hartwell has filed for a divorce from actress Keshia Knight Pulliam. Hartwell filed for divorce in a Fulton County, Georgia, courthouse on Monday morning, citing irreconcilable differences.
“Right now, the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby,” he told TheYBF.com via his rep.
News of their split comes just days after “The Cosby Show” alum announced she was pregnant with a baby girl.
Hartwell and Pulliam were engaged on New Year’s Eve of this year after only a few months of dating. They married a few weeks later in the actress’ home, according to her podcast “Kandidly Keshia.”
“It was my dream,” Pulliam said. “We did it literally in our living room in our home. We invited people. They had no clue they were coming to a wedding.”
Back in March, Pulliam talked to HuffPost about finding her soulmate.
“It is so important to know that you are enough and you must know who you are as an individual. You must love yourself before you can fully love someone else,” she said. “I dreamed of my wedding day being surrounded in love, family, and flowers. Since I was a little girl I desired to be married and one day have a family.”
“I am everything Ed needs and he is everything I need. We support each other,” she added.
