'Be The Boss': Restaurant Manager Wins Melting Pot Franchise
|

Jason Long was a general manager for The Melting Pot restaurant, and when a reality show came calling, he thought he was competing against a fellow employee for a big promotion within the company. But A&E's "Be the Boss" had a surprise up its sleeve. When Jason won the competition, there was no promotion waiting for him.

Instead, Jason was awarded his own Melting Pot restaurant, and it was evident that this opportunity would change his life.

"This is the most amazing thing that’s ever happened to me, and probably will ever happen to me in my entire life," he said. "I’m not going to live in a 12' x 14' square anymore. I'm not going to have to sleep on the floor anymore.”

He was excited for the chance to be his own boss, and vowed that he would be "the best boss anybody's ever, ever had."

The feel-good stories continue on "Be the Boss" every Sunday at 11 p.m. ET on A&E.
