Derek Hough: Maria Menounos Has 'Insane' Dancing Work Ethic
|

"Dancing With the Stars" pro Derek Hough dished out some high praise to his new partner, "Extra" correspondent Maria Menounos, in an interview with "Good Day LA" (weekdays, 9 a.m. PST on Fox). "Maria, she's already such a hard worker. Her work ethic is insane. Last night we went like 6 hours, and she was like, 'I wanna keep going,' and I was like, 'I don't think my feet can keep going."

The compliment carries extra weight coming from Hough, who's had a prolific run on the dance competition. He's won three "DWTS" titles, paired with Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey and Brooke Burke. Last season, he reached the finals with partner Ricki Lake.

Hough also previewed the rest of the competition this season. "From what I've heard, with this cast, everybody's gonna be good ... I've snuck in a few rehearsals and kind of peeked my head in, and from what I've seen, the standard is very high this season," he teased.

Season 14 of "Dancing With the Stars" premieres Mon., March 19 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
