Cheering crowds at the Compton Woodley Airport waited on Saturday, July 11 as 15-year-old Kimberly Anyadike prepared to land a single-engine Cessna after making it through thunderstorms as she returned from Newport News, Virginia, according to the LA Times. It was a "daunting" task, yet Anyadike "wanted to inspire others to believe in themselves."-SG
