New Vampire Weekend Song 'Unbelievers' Debuts On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Vampire Weekend Debuts New Song

Remember back in 2008 when Vampire Weekend was the biggest band ever, but then everybody predicted it wouldn't last because of internet backlash and whatnot? Well, the band is still around: Two years after the group's sophomore album, "Contra," made a No. 1 debut on the Billboard charts, Vampire Weekend premiered a new song on Wednesday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The verdict? As good as ever.

Called "Unbelievers," the track sounds exactly what you might expect a Vampire Weekend song to sound like. It's jaunty, harmonious and perfect background music for hipster dinner parties.

In a nod to Halloween, Vampire Weekend performed the song in costume: each member wore makeup that recalled the villainous costumes from "Karate Kid."

Kimmel is hosting his late night show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music this week, a special homecoming for the comic, who was born in Brooklyn, New York. Despite the Monday episode being canceled by Hurricane Sandy, the rest of the show has gone off without a hitch.
