Famed director Quentin Tarantino turns the ripe old age of 50 on Wednesday, March 27. Tarantino made his name with bold, boundary-pushing films such as 1992's "Reservoir Dogs," 1994's "Pulp Fiction," and 1997's "Jackie Brown."
Tarantino was nominated for Best Director for "Pulp Fiction" at the 1995 Oscars, but he won the award for Best Original Screenplay at the ceremony. In 2010, "Inglourious Basterds" earned Tarantino Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Director, while 2013's Best Picture-nominee "Django Unchained" also won Tarantino the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
