YouTube Star "Homeless Joe": Is He Finally Sober?

“Homeless Joe” gained fame living on the streets of New York City and sleeping with women so he could have a roof over his head. When the 26-year-old appeared on Dr. Phil, he admitted he drank up to 30 drinks a day but said he was content with his lifestyle. Seeing through his façade, Dr. Phil offered to send him to rehab, which Joe happily accepted. But just nine days into treatment, Joe fled. The Dr. Phil show eventually tracked down Joe at the front desk of an Austin, Texas hotel, barefoot and drunk.

Watch the video above for an update on his life now. Check out more from this show, including Joe's reunion with someone he hasn't seen since he left treatment.
