Abigail Breslin Poses Topless In Risque New Tyler Shields Shoot

Abigail Breslin Goes Topless In Risque New Shoot
|

Goodbye "Little Miss Sunshine"! Abigail Breslin is all grown up and topless in a series of racy photos for celebrity photographer Tyler Shields.

"Abigail wanted to do something new, something iconic," Shields told Us Weekly of the shoot. "People see her as innocent, but everyone grows up. After we made 'Final Girl' together, we had a great relationship and it was easy to do this. She trusts me."

In one of the shots, Breslin poses topless with a red lollipop in her mouth and a white sheet covering her bare chest. In another, she looks up at the camera with Kohl-rimmed eyes while topless in a bubble bath.

Shields told Us she was "great" when it came to shooting. The two have experience working together after the photographer directed her in the upcoming thriller, "Final Girl."

The snapshots show a decidedly different side of the 17-year-old actress who got her start in the biz with 2002's "Signs," and earned an Oscar nod for her role in 2006's "Little Miss Sunshine" when she was just 10 years old. While she has been making headlines for her nearly unrecognizable new look recently, it's not meant to prove anything.

"I don't make these conscious decisions to do it, to like prove to the world that I'm grown up," Breslin told E! News of the Shields photos. "I think people see my work and see what I do and see that I'm grown up. But yeah, I'm almost 18. Every headline for the past three years has been 'Abigail Breslin All Grown Up,' so I am kind of growing up. I do want to try different things but it's all for fun."
