Without a wand and magic-free, Daniel Radcliffe resorted to good ol Yankee violence when he punched a MTV anchor in the ear. (Don't worry, it was hilarious.)

The "Harry Potter" star, who just recently wrapped up his run in "How to Succeed In Business" on Broadway, tested his American knowledge with MTV's Josh Horwitz. The British actor was woefully uninformed about our greatest alien-defeating presidents and Katy Perry lyrics (though he has quite a crush!), but he was able to name all four "Twilight" books.

Before you fangirls go crazy, take note that he has only seen the first film in the vampire saga. Guess he didn't think they were much competition for his wizard bonanza.
