'Frozen' Trailer: New Disney Film Set In Snowy Land Features Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel (VIDEO)

Disney's Next Big Success?

Boasting much of the same look and tone of the "Ice Age" movies, the relentlessly cute trailer for the next snowy animated adventure is here. Disney's "Frozen" centers on the Arendelle kingdom, which the Snow Queen has inadvertently caused to endure an eternal winter. The movie tells the story of the queen's sister, Anna, and her reindeer pal Sven as they go on a quest to find the queen after she banishes herself in order to restore the land.

The charming trailer, which features supporting characters Olaf and Sven, hit the Internet on Wednesday in advance of the movie's Nov. 27 release. "Frozen" boasts the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.

The movie's story is loosely based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "The Snow Queen," published in 1845 and often said to have inspired the White Witch character in C.S. Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." The 3-D CGI flick is directed by Chris Buck ("Surf's Up," "Tarzan") and Jennifer Lee (writer of "Wreck-It Ralph"). "Frozen" will serve as the 53rd feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classic series.
