'Jersey Shore': The Unit Gets Arrested

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has hinted for a long time that he hooked up with his "Jersey Shore" (Thu., 10 p.m. EST on MTV) room mate Snooki.

He has also claimed that his best friend "The Unit" knows exactly what went down between him and Snooki. So, feeling self-righteous about her cheating ways, he decided to "drop the bomb" on Snooki's boyfriend Jionni and bring Unit back to the house to expose her dirty little secret.

As usually happens with Mike, it was a case of best laid plans going horribly wrong.

Staggering home from the bar for the intended big showdown, Unit was so drunk that Mike had to almost carry him, and the besties' shambolic progress attracted the attention of the local cops.

Just when Mike thought the night couldn't get any crazier, the police officers ordered Unit to place his hands behind his back. Then they arrested him, cuffed him and took him off to the drunk tank.

Looks like Mike's plan to wreck Jionni's life with Snooki will just have to wait a while.

Check out HuffPost TV's interview with The Unit, in which he talks about the Snooki rumors and Mike's sexuality. "Jersey Shore" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
