Kate Walsh Tells 'Conan' The Grisly Fate She Has In Mind For Addison On 'Private Practice' (VIDEO)

Kate Walsh Wants Grisly Fate For Addison On 'Private Practice'
|

Kate Walsh stopped by "Conan" Monday night to discuss the end of her character's Dr. Addison Montgomery on-screen life with "Private Practice" winding down. When Conan O'Brien asked her how she thought her character should go out, Walsh had a very specific, very dark idea.

"I kind of want to go out in a blaze of glory, like literally," she said. "Run out of a building on fire completely. Something hugely dramatic, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen."

Probably not. In fact, things seem to be building toward a happy ending for Addison. Just last week, she and Jake became engaged to be married.

She also threw out the possiblity of Addison choking on a chicken bone, which O'Brien gleefully added to her running-on-fire scenario. No matter how it ends, "Private Practice" will reach its conclusion in early 2013.

Catch Kate Walsh and "Private Practice" on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. "Conan" airs every weeknight at 11 p.m. ET on TBS.
