Kourtney and Khloe FINALLY Take The Hamptons

Something wonderful happened on Sunday night’s episode of “Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons.” Kourtney and Khloe actually took the Hamptons! It was glorious. There were sailboats, ticks and scenic walks. Kourtney and Khloe went shopping at a little organic market. It was so cute and quaint, I'm surprised they fit a camera crew in there. They picked out ripe avocados, and discussed Scott's involvement in French Montana's "Don't Panic" music video. You know, just another day in the Hamptons. In fact, contrary to the previous episodes this season, no one even left the Hamptons. Well, other than Khloe, who left to shoot said French Montana music video.

We also learned that Kourtney is expecting a baby boy! Woot woot! However, the way in which this was revealed was beyond anti-climactic. E! played up the reveal so much, it was a huge draw in all of the previews. And then they reveal it offhandedly before the opening credits? And via a Kim Kardashian-made home video flashback? WUT? To be honest, I was expecting more.

Like, okay, cool. Moving on.

Then the producers decided to bore us with the whole "Kourtney is a sailor captain extraordinaire" plot line. The story goes that for years Kourtney has claimed that she is a skilled professional at everything she sets her mind to. Khloe and Scott decide to finally call her out on her bluff. To do this, they purchase a sailboat and insist that Kourtney steer them at sea (kind of an expensive way to prove someone wrong, but I guess this is the Hamptons, sailboats are used to win arguments all the time). Scott then falls out of the boat due to Kourtney's inability to sail and yawn, yawn, yawn. This storyline was very Hamptons-esque, so I will allow it ... but just this once.

Then there was radio show-gate. If you recall earlier in the season, Khloe attempted to get a radio show, but momager Kris Jenner said that the radio people were not interested in Scott because he is a loose cannon. Honestly, it is hard to believe that a radio station would reject Scott, especially if Khloe refused to do it without him. Yes, he is a loose cannon, but that's why people love him! If Khloe insisted that Scott be included, I’m sure they could have worked something out. Also, Kris Jenner, do your job. Negotiate. Work for that 10 percent!

In the end, Khloe turns down the radio gig and the money and opts to go the podcast route with Scott. (Podcasts: so hot right now!)

The new podcast partners then get into a row over the French Montana video shoot. Scott doesn't show up on set because he fears he might be tempted to drink, as that is what usually goes down on a music video set. Luckily for Scott though, it is Ramadan so neither French nor his buddies are drinking. As Scott notes though, being sober does not stop French from slurring his words. Pity. I was excited to hear him enunciate. Maybe next time.

Anyways, to Khloe's dismay, Scott doesn't show up on set. Though Scott opted out for all of the right reasons, he definitely should have told Khloe beforehand and not flaked out. But, fighting via podcast on the back of a sailboat early in the morning, ladies and gentlemen, the Hamptons have been taken!
