'One Tree Hill' Cast Reunites, Blesses World By Singing Theme Song Together

Remember when Brooke and Lucas were married IRL?

They don’t wanna be anything other than what they’ve been trying to be lately were in 2006.

The cast of “One Tree Hill,” a show that we imagine will be akin to “Saved by the Bell” for today’s kids, reunited in the fictitious Tree Hill (Wilmington, North Carolina) over the weekend for a “OTH” convention.

The cast of the hit show, including ultimate 2000s hearthrob Chad Michael Murray, joined superfans during a two-day convention in the town where the show was filmed.

Murray even indulged fans by reciting one of the show’s most famous lines, “It’s you, Peyton. It’s always been you.”

Cast members belted out the show’s infamous theme song, “I Don’t Want to Be”, the song that put Gavin DeGraw on the map but also made us wait two whole minutes to see Lucas’ face at the beginning of each episode.

Hilarie Burton, who rather suddenly departed the show during its sixth season, addressed the long-standing rumors about why she never returned for even a guest appearance.

“I wasn’t invited. That’s it. Next question,” Burton told the crowd.

The cast has stayed extremely close over the years, and often documents their reunions on social media, much to the delight of fans who are still living in the good old days of “One Tree Hill” drama.

If you can’t make it to a “OTH” convention, or frankly just don’t feel the need to, remember that Lucas already graced us with plenty of quotes that will give you a dose of Raven goodness whenever you need it.

Be still, our preteen hearts.
