On April 6th, the world will be blessed with new music from rock and roll legend, Peter Wolf. He is, of course, the man who once exclaimed, "Take out your false teeth, baby, I wanna suck on your gums," and we were all better for it.
It has been almost 40 years since the J. Geils Band kicked some rock and roll ass on "Live Full House," one of the better live albums of the seventies, and eight years since Peter Wolf released his sublime solo album, "Sleepless." In just a few weeks, Peter Wolf's new album "Midnight Souvenirs" will invade your soul. I will begin gushing now because this record is that good. From the soulful opener and first single, "Tragedy," a duet with Shelby Lynne, you will be hooked.
But ... since we have to wait, I suggest you take a look at this short film about the making of the record; a record that I guarantee will be on everybody's Top Ten list come December.
You can thank me -- and Peter -- on April 7th.
