The Cast Of 'Scandal' Looked Perfectly At Home In The Real White House

At last.

Things got super meta for the cast of "Scandal" last week when they got to tour the White House in Washington, D.C. And when we say tour, we actually mean take over.

On Thursday, Kerry Washington, who plays the badass crisis manager Olivia Pope, and Tony Goldwyn, the fictional President Fitzgerald Grant, were joined by their co-stars Cornelius Smith Jr., Katie Lowes, Jeff Perry and Bellamy Young at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Show runner Shonda Rhimes was also there for all the action.

At one point, #Olitz had a moment in the real rose garden:

Smith Jr., aka Marcus Walker, rocked out to the Marine Jazz Ensemble.

Lowes, aka Quinn Perkins, joined Goldwyn at the real Truman balcony.

Washington and Goldwyn also took a moment to stand with Hillary Clinton.

And then the cast took an epic selfie with Judy Smith, the real-life crisis manager who served as inspiration for the Olivia Pope character.

During a panel event in D.C. last week, Goldwyn spoke about a past experience at the White House, recalling how the staff kept joking "the president is here" as he was walking down the halls. (The best!) We can only hope the same thing happened this time.

Following their tour, the crew put all scandals aside and attended the White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday night.

We'd say they handled this situation perfectly.
