Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez effectively put rumors that they are no longer on speaking terms to rest, as they danced with whimsy and delight through the Metropolitan Museum of Art at the Met Gala on May 5.

Previously, there had been talk that the pop stars, who were once as close as sisters, had a falling out, with some reports pointing to Swift's apparent disapproval over the fact that Gomez has yet to wash her hands entirely of on-again-off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. We too would rather Gomez say goodbye to Bieber for good, but that doesn't seem to have caused a rift between the two friends.

Early Tuesday, May 6, morning, Gomez posted an Instagram video of her and Swift dancing at the Ball, and wrote, "And during.. sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets."
