The Best Actor nominees, Musical or Comedy, at the Golden Globes include Hugh Jackman, Bradley Cooper, Bill Murray, Jack Black and Ewan McGregor.

The Golden Globe nominations were announced on Dec. 13; the 70th annual Golden Globes will be awarded on Jan. 13, 2013. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the televised ceremony.

Jackman was nominated for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy for playing Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables." The film also expected to earn a nomination in the Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category.

In the film -- which also earned a nomination for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy -- Cooper plays a mentally unstable former high school teacher who attempts to put his life back together with the help of his parents (Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver) and the beautiful-but-equally-damaged girl next door (Jennifer Lawrence, a fellow Golden Globe nominee).

Murray was chosen for playing Franklin Delano Roosevelt in "Hyde Park on Hudson." Jack Black grabbed his nod for "Bernie," while Ewan McGregor was a surprise inclusion for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen."

At the 69th annual Golden Globes, Jean Dujardin won Best Actor - Musical or Comedy for his work in "The Artist." He beat Owen Wilson ("Midnight in Paris"), Joseph Gordon- Levitt ("50/50"), Ryan Gosling ("Crazy, Stupid, Love") and Brendan Gleeson ("The Guard").
