Jori published a book that she says is partly based on her own childhood, including allegations of emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of her deceased mother.

"My family thinks that I wrote the book to be vindictive and cruel to my mother," says Jori, explaining that her intent was to help others. "I don't want people to go through what I have. ... With all the abuse and neglect I had growing up, I feel grateful for making it out alive."

But her brother, Grant, says the entire book is lies. "In my eyes, Jori is absolutely insane,” Grant says. “She's crazy; she's delusional. She cannot differentiate the difference between fantasy and reality."

In the video above, Dr. Phil tells Jori: "I'm trying to determine if you're a compassionate advocate for those who have been abused or if you're an exploitive exhibitionist that has put your family through a lot of exposure and hurt because you are vindictive."
