Barb’s fate was less than ideal on Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” but she came back from the Upside Down this week with a little help from Chelsea Handler.
In a clip from Thursday’s episode of the comedian’s Netflix show “Chelsea,” Shannon Purser (the actress who brought Barb to life ... and death) showed up to surprise three of the show’s young cast members. She even had cake!
The moment, which was meant as a birthday gift for Gaten Matarazzo (who plays Dustin), was just as heartwarming as you’d imagine. (Seriously, you need to find yourself someone who looks at you like Caleb McLaughlin, aka Lucas, looks at Purser.)
Before Purser walked out, Handler asked the cast if we can ever expect justice for Barb, to which Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) responded by reinforcing the Duffer brothers’ promise that “Barb will not be forgotten.”
Let’s hope not.
