Chad Michael Murray & Kenzie Dalton Call Off Their Engagement

"One Tree Hill" fans, Chad Michael Murray is back on the market.

The actor and his fiancee of seven years, Kenzie Dalton, have called off their engagement, reports ABC News. "Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton quietly parted ways earlier in the year," Murray's publicist said. "Please respect their privacy at this time."

Per People magazine, Murray, 32, met Dalton, 25, when she was still in high school. At the time, the Miss North Carolina Teen USA runner-up had a walk-on role on "One Tree Hill" as a cheerleader, adds USA Today.

"She is a little stunner. She is a sweetheart. She is my best friend and we have been together a long time," Murray said of Dalton just last year.

When they started dating, Murray's divorce from ex-wife and co-star Sophia Bush wasn't yet finalized. Bush and Murray were married for five months before she tried to annul the marriage, but ended up with a divorce.

Murray is now rumored to be dating Australian actress Nicky Whelan, with whom he was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont in L.A. Wednesday night.
