Motorhead is canceling shows as its frontman battles health problems. Motorhead leader Lemmy Kilmister reportedly suffered a hematoma, forcing the band to ax a recent show in Milan.
The cancellation was confirmed on the band's official website in a news announcement reading, "We are sorry to report that Motorhead will be forced to cancel the appearance in Milan, June 25th. The band regrets it very much but will make it up to all the fans as soon as possible."
European promotion company Barley Arts publicized the news of Kilmister's reported health problems, announcing that the band canceled the show in Milan because of "the health problems of Lemmy, caused by a strong hematoma which makes it impossible at present to go on stage."
Born Ian Fraser Kilmister, the 67-year-old rocker has yet to comment on his health.
A staple in the music industry for decades, Motorhead is expected to release a new album later this year. The band is currently in the midst of an international tour, scheduled to make stops across the globe in cities such as Moscow and Kiev.
