<i>Argo</i> and <i>Zero Dark Thirty</i> Win WGA Honors

Chris Terrio (right) won Adapted Screenplay for Argo and Mark Boal(left) captured the award for the Original Screenplay Zero Dark Thirty at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday Febuary 17, 2013. The win for Argo over Lincoln in the Adapted category further bolstered notions about what may happen next week at the Oscars for Best Picture. Oscar voting closes in two days so this may add a little more oomph to Argo's apparent momentum. At one point, there was a snag on timing between the East Coast and West Coast presentations of WGA Awards as this particular show happens in both places.
