He made his name as the neurotic, beleaguered Ross on "Friends" and has been voicing children's cartoons, but David Schwimmer has a dark side, too. He directed the online predator film, "Trust," and now he may be going depraved once again.

According to Variety, Schwimmer is in talks to join the cast of "The Iceman," the indie film about Richard Kuklinski, a prolific east coast contract killer. Shannon will take on the part of Kuklinski, while Schwimmer would play Josh Rosenthal, a killer who works for and worships a mob boss played by Ray Liotta. Maggie Gyllenhaal will play Shannon's wife.

The film recently suffered a high profile loss, when the tireless James Franco actually dropped out of the project. There was speculation that his exit would end up sinking the film, but it looks like things are still moving as scheduled.
